Ordered these for Valentine's Days plans which never panned out, so I had them all to myself, and I think I got the better end of the deal.
They were sent rather promptly, and arrived quickly. The packaging was intact, and there was only a slight dent on the top of the truffles from the packaging, but they were not some ball of gooey dough or anything.
As for size, they're slightly smaller than a golfball, so be sure to have a sweet tooth before you order. Taste-wise, they're rather good. The cocoa is not overwhelming, and you can certainly taste the chocolate underneath. There's also enough of each truffle to give you a satisfying feel after eating one, as opposed to some of the smaller packaged truffles where you eat a dozen and only then realize half the box is gone, one of these at a time will do.
The only real Con I can think of, is that I still tasted a bit of whichever oil they used to sure up the truffle (safflower, coconut, etc.), and it slightly took away from the chocolaty taste.
However, don't let that stop you too much. They were plenty chocolaty, and I mean chocolaty, not loaded with sugar.
For the price I ordered them at (around $3 I believe), they were a great little treat, and I've been remiss about letting the review go so long.
If you have a few spare bucks to spoil yourself and don't mind waiting for shipping, grab these, or order the bigger pack. The truffles were positively YUMMY!. A few of the truffles were a bit squished by the postal service, but they were still absolutely delish. When I've purchased truffles from other companies, I found them overpoweringly sweet. But Scott's truffles were just right. They had the perfect amount of sweetness. This product offers very little in the actual package. The picture makes it seem as though there is alot of food being offered here however the box was filled with not only candy but strips of paper to fill the areas where there is none. The price is good however you would be better off purchasing candy from walmart and geting a box there and placing a ribbon on it! It would be cheaper also!

I have purchased a number of different food gift baskets over the years online, and its always a little difficult to determine which one to get. You have to carefully read the content descriptions, as some baskets have a lot of "filler" items. This makes it appear that you are getting a lot of food, but its crackers and condiments. My father liked this basket, he said the salami and other things were of good quality, so I would recommend it to others.

Ten years ago, I worked in a wonderful little gift shop in Juneau, Alaska where we carried these. I'm estatic to finally have found them! I am not much of a chocolate candy fan, even quality chocolate, as most is way too sweet or lacks a true chocolate flavor. This truffle, however, tastes like a decadant chocolate brownie of the hightest quality... It's like a brownie (not a candy) that melts on your tongue, no chewing needed.
